Resizing a window from the edges

You may resize a window from its edges and corners when it isn't maximized. If the window is maximized you will need to use the Restore button before the edges can be used to resize the window.

The simulation on the right demonstrates how to resize and reshape a window from its edges.

The mouse cursor changes shape when held over the edge of a window. If the mouse cursor is over the edge of the window and you click and hold the mouse button down, you can resize the window by dragging the mouse. When you let go of the mouse button, the window will resize. Notice that you can resize in two dimensions by clicking and dragging at the corner of the window.
