How do you sort records in Datasheet view?

Sorting records in Datasheet view is easy:

1. Select the heading of the column you want to sort.
2. Select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending from the Record/Sort submenu or toolbar buttons .

The following animation shows an example.

Notice how the date field in the above animation responds to the sort command. Even though alphabetically 19-Jun-97 comes before 31-Jan-96 in an ascending sort, the values are sorted correctly because the field type is Date/Time and not Text.
