To remove the content of a cell you can use the Cut, Delete, or Clear command. What are the differences between these three commands?

Edit/Cut – The content of the cell is removed after the content is pasted to another location in the workbook.

Edit/Delete – The content of the cell is removed and adjacent cells are shifted to fill the empty space left by the cell which was deleted.

Edit/Clear – The content of the cell is erased.

Note: These three commands can also be applied to groups of cells.
