How do the arrow keys compare to the mouse?

While editing a word processing document the arrow keys control the cursor or insertion point. Each press of an arrow key moves the cursor up, down, left, or right one position. The mouse controls the mouse pointer. The mouse can be used to set the cursor or insertion point by positioning the mouse pointer over the desired location of the insertion point and right-clicking.
