When you preview a document, you get an on-screen look at how each page
of the document would appear if printed. This is very useful for checking your formats
(margins, page breaks, indentations, and so forth) and adjusting them exactly the way you
like before printing the final version. Previewing saves paper and time. When you print a
document, it is sent to a computer printer that produces a paper copy of it.
