Your resume should be tailored to highlight your strengths with respect to the specific job opportunity you are applying for.
For example, if you are still in school, it is likely you will want to have a section for extracurricular activities. If you are returning to the workforce or changing careers the best format may not be the chronological style, but one that is organized by function.
