With all the text highlighted select Format/Columns. Select Two and make sure Apply to is set to "selected text" 4. Now click OK and you should see the text you typed displayed in two even columns. 5. Click toward the end of your document to set the insertion point inside one of the blank lines or paragraphs you left at the end of your document. The format for the lines at the end of your document should be one column. If so, you are ready to do Table/Insert or Table/Draw Table. The trick is to leave a few blank lines at the bottom of your document and make sure you don't format these last two lines as two columns. Eddie
