From the Insert menu, choose Pictures.../ClipArt or From File. The image will be inserted at the insertion point. You might need to resize the image and adjust the text wrap properties. When an image is selected, you will get the Picture toolbar:
Click on Text Wrap 
to modify the text wrap properties.
