Often, you will want to cut out certain parts of a graphic. Cutting out what you don't want is called cropping. Cropping a picture is very easy in Word97.
When you select a graphic, you will see the handle bars around the graphic, and the Picture toolbar will appear.
To crop, click on the Crop icon . The mouse pointer will change to
. Position the crop pointer over one of the handles on the picture. Click on
the handle and drag to crop. To see how this is done, you can view the following
animation:
You can put borders around any graphic. Just click on the Line Style icon and
drag down the list to select the line you want. Choose More Lines to select from
other lines.
